Range of services
Abode can co-ordinate and verify that project activities are being successfully achieved. Control is maintained by adopting a clear methodology encompassing risk analysis, cost planning, business process evaluation, design co-ordination, troubleshooting, financial modelling, environmental assessment and value engineering.
We undertake duties on the employer’s behalf. Responsibilities include; drafting project execution plans, managing the briefing and scope definition process, appointing design consultants, managing client and third-party liaison, preparing employer’s requirements and other tender documentation, implementing change control and supporting the use of warranties to meet the requirements of third parties.
Cost management services
We operate across all sectors, advising clients on cost prediction, cost management, value for money, contractor procurement and project delivery issues. We seek to eliminate risk at every opportunity and maximise the efficient delivery of a project. We have learnt from our experience that it is important to clarify and establish the project brief with the client and design team at the earliest stage possible. We are then able to manage the budget to ensure that a contract is successfully delivered.

We have been involved in the exploration/identification and brokering of competitive funding options with our clients and assisted them in looking at different financial and equity models in order to bring forward successful developments, in what remains a difficult market.
